Fork Lift Operator
Who is it for?
This course is suitable for all those who are required to use a Forklift truck within the workplace and require certification in accordance with current legislation.
Course content:
- Responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
- Operators safety rules
- Battery maintenance and charging procedures
- Pre-operational checks and fault finding
- Factors affecting stability
- Manoeuvring in open and confined area's
- Stacking & de-stacking procedures

Dependant on experience and numbers - see chart below

Centre:
All novice courses are delivered in the centre over five days commencing on a Monday, with the students being tested on a Friday. All experienced but untrained courses are over three days and can be arranged in any combination of days.
Objectives:
On succesful completion of this course students will be awarded a Competence to Operate Certification and a valid licence.
Centre Courses:
Novice £325.00 +VAT per delegate (price includes certification)
Experienced £275.00 +VAT per delegate (price includes certification)
Customer Premises: 175.00+VAT per day - maximum 3 delegates (additional charges for fuel for companies outside the radius of 20 miles from Hortonwood)
