First Aid Emergency Response
Who is it for?
This course is suitable wher an employer's first aid assessment identifies that a first aider is required under the requirements of the First Aid at Work Act
Venue:
This course is delivered at our Health and Safety Centre or on customer premises.

- First aid in the workplace
- Responsibilities of the appointed persons
- Action at an emergency
- Primary assessment
- Principles of resuscitation
- Breathing and circulation
- Airway obstruction
- Disorder of circulation
- Bleeding
- Additional subjects
Outcome:
On successful completion of this course, students will be familiar with the equipment and facilities at work and be competent to call the emergency services when required.Please note that emergency response person are not first aiders and should not attempt to give first aid.Delegates will be certificated which is valid for three years.
Course Duration: 1/2 a Day ( Four Hours)
