BIIAB – Level 2 National Certificate for CCTV
This national qualification is spread over four days. It is designed at giving learners the basic job training in CCTV operations. The course covers the key areas recommended by the SIA for a delegate to operate the CCTV competently.
On successful completion of this qualification delegates will be able to apply to the SIA for a CCTV Operators Licence.
Any person contracted to operate CCTV Public Space Surveillance (PSS) equipment, which is either fixed or has a tilt and zoom capacity, will require a SIA Licence to operate.

- Indentify the legislation and legal framework when operating CCTV systems for information storage
- Maintaining records.
- Reporting.
Minimum Teaching Time: Minimum 30 hours
Assessment Format: Unit 1 is a multi choice paper, Unit 2 Practical testing on Equipment.
