- Understand the terminology used in good hygiene practice.
- Understand the concepts of hygiene hazards and how the risk can be controlled.

- Recognise the need for high standards of hygiene and the importance of cleaning.
Details
Employees who have already received basic health and safety training and would benefit from additional focused training in hygiene hazards and controls. This would include carers and others who provide cleaning and support services in a broad range of contexts, such as:
- Hospitals.
- Care homes.
- Patients'/clients' own homes.
Duration: Half-day programme.
Assessment Format: Multiple choice paper examination.
Cost
Centre: £ 75.00 + VAT per person (price includes certification and registration).
Customer Premises: £350.00 + VAT per day (additional cost of £ 15.54 per candidate for CIEH Registration and certification).
